This book, which we consider a companion book to ‘Reminiscences of a stock operator’, is about Jesse Livermore’s life. It was written after interviews with Livermore survivors and witnesses to the events which took place during his life. ISBN 0-440-53865-3. Rating: HOW TO TRADE IN STOCKS: By Jesse Livermore & Teresa Aligood. Livermore is considered by many to be the most flamboyant speculator that ever lived. In this book, he shares his philosophy of trading and lists the rules that are necessary to win at the speculative process. ISBN 0-934380-69-4. Rating: HOW TO MAKE MONEY IN STOCKS: By William O’Neil. O’Neil is the founder of popular Investor’s Business Daily newspaper. Explains his CANSLIM idea for buying stocks, similar in idea to Peter Lynch to just using common sense. Rating: LORE AND LEGENDS OF WALL STREET: By Robert Sharp. This is a very entertaining and educational book. This is the story of Wall Street from 1553 to the present day. Interviews with some of the world’s top traders. Absolutely one of the best books you can read - like talking to all the people in the know when it comes to making money in the markets. One of the country’s top experts in options trading offers the very latest strategies in option trading techniques, covering hedging, volatility, and pricing concepts, plus his own options philosophy. SECURITY ANALYSIS: THE CLASSIC 1934 EDITION: In a word, Security Analysis is the bible of fundamental analysis. Written by David Dodd and Benjamin Graham, this book represents a classic among classics on Wall Street. While this book is rather lengthy and at times difficult to read, it is considered by many to be the definitive work when it comes to stock valuation and security analysis. As you may know, Warren Buffett was a student of Benjamin Graham.
